Please spend some time looking at the details in this painting. The woman clutches a shirt from the closet leaving an empty hanger. The night stand holds a ring, watch and wallet. The room is half blue representing the husband, and even half of the woman; their oneness. The other half of the room is pink and coral representing the woman.
The fire place represents death.
She is sleeping on a bed with no sheets, or pillow cases. Sometimes its all we can do to get through days when we lose someone we love.
This is a painful painting, but one whose story needs to be told especially as we move towards the end of our earthly lives and one of us is temporarily left behind.
The good news to remember is we will be together again in a heavenly home where there is no sickness, sadness or death.
